Course Description 

OSHA requires inorganic arsenic training whenever employees are exposed to arsenic at or above a certain level. This course explains the possible health effects of inorganic arsenic and how to reduce and/or eliminate the exposures that can lead to these health effects.


Course Objectives 

  • Recall the health hazards and permissible exposure limits of arsenic.
  • Know what PPE to wear to protect against arsenic exposure. 
  • Define the regulated area. 
  • Know how to stay safe from arsenic exposure through hygiene, engineering controls, and medical surveillance.
