
Data and AI Storytelling
Course Description
This course teaches learners how to create engaging data stories by contradicting common perceptions. They will use data analysis and AI prompts using ChatGPT to produce effective data stories and justify why AI makes these data stories more effective. This is an asynchronous, self-paced course with no live instructor. The flexible schedule allows learners to complete coursework and assignments at their own pace and time. The course includes quizzes and knowledge checks. Upon submitting the module quizzes, you will also receive a course completion certificate with an 80% completion score.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Identify how data stories should surprise, and provide a new, more convincing explanation for time-worn ideas.
- Review current-voltage behavior of p-n junction diodes
- Distinguish between direct and indirect bandgap semiconductors
Course Schedule and Duration
Below is the course schedule. It is recommended that you work through one module per week. The entire course is estimated to take 15 hours to complete, and each module is estimated to take 15-18 hours to complete. Note: Quizzes are mandatory, and assignments and discussions are optional.
