Abstract

本スタンダードは，Physical Interfaces & Carriers Global Technical Committeeで技術的に承認されている。現版は2010年8月27日，global Audits and Reviews Subcommitteeにて発行が承認された。2010年10月に www.semi.orgで入手可能となる。初版は1996年に発行，前版は2005年3月に発行された。

この仕様が規定しているのは，300 mmウェーハ処理および検査装置のロードポートに関する寸法上の要求事項である。目的としているのは，装置と工場との間の一様な機械的インタフェースを促進すること，自動ウェーハキャリア搬送システムを使いやすくすること，人が積載する装置のための人間工学上の要求事項を満たすこと，である。

　

本スタンダードは，300 mm装置のみを扱っている。200 mm以下のウェーハ用の装置を扱う同様の要求事項は，SEMI E15で扱っている。
