Abstract

本スタンダードは，global Physical Interfaces & Carriers Committeeで技術的に承認されている。現版は2010年8月27日，global Audits and Reviews Subcommitteeにて発行が承認された。2010年10月に www.semi.orgで入手可能となる。初版は1997年に発行，前版は2004年11月に発行された。

 

本スタンダードは，プロセス装置または測定装置においてボックスを開け，300 mmウェーハのアンロードおよびロードのためにウェーハハンドラにウェーハを渡すための装置側の機械的インタフェースを規定する。ボックスオープナとローダーユニットは1つ以上の（SEMI E15.1に準拠した）ロードポートを有すると共に，空容器あるいは（装置のスループットを上げるための）待ちロット用のストッカーを有することもある。ボックスオープナ／ローダーユニットは（SEMI E47.1, SEMI E62に準拠した）ボックスあるいはポッドを扱うだけでなく（SEMI E1.9に準拠した）オープンカセットを扱う。本スタンダードはそれらの種類ならびにキャリア容量（13枚と25枚の）をひとつのインタフェース規格によって規定する。
