Abstract

* This Standard has the option to purchase the Current document with a redline document (Current + Redline). The redline document is included with the Current document as a comparison tool to help identify changes that have been made between the Current version and the previous version (Superseded). If differences should exist between the redline document and the Current document, the Current version is the official and authoritative version.

1  Purpose
1.1  This Specification is a central location for the definition of common Protocol Buffers elements that are not specific to a single standard, but are common across multiple standards.
2  Scope
2.1  This Specification defines the representation of Error, Data Types, Data Value Types, Unit, and Operator which are considered common components. The common components are used in association with other Protocol Buffers documents generated as part of the Protocol Buffers based SEMI Standard Interface Specifications.
NOTICE: SEMI Standards and Safety Guidelines do not purport to address all safety issues associated with their use. It is the responsibility of the users of the Documents to establish appropriate safety and health practices, and determine the applicability of regulatory or other limitations prior to use.
