Course Description

Citizens and governments around the world are asking for strong regulations of AI. But what does this mean in practice? Are there clear models of AI regulation that are already emerging? What major risks are they responding to? This micro-credential will consider these questions through four modules. The first two modules will overview the demands for AI regulation and the relevant global frameworks for business and human rights. The last two modules will evaluate the supply of AI regulation in the fast-developing European and American models. By the end of this course, students should be better equipped to anticipate and comply with future AI regulations in a global context.

This is an asynchronous, self-paced course with no live instructor. The flexible schedule allows learners to complete coursework and assignments at their own pace and time. You will receive a completion certificate upon successfully completing the course modules with an 80% or higher grade.
