Course Description 

Hazards are universal, but languages are not.  To keep individuals safe in workplaces worldwide, standardized symbols called pictograms have been created to consistently communicate hazards from workplace to workplace and country.  This mini-module covers pictograms and their associated hazards, as encountered on labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).

  • Recognize pictograms.
  • Recall the specific pictograms associated with specific hazards.
