Course Description

This course introduces foundational concepts of the semiconductor industry. As you complete this course, you'll learn about historical knowledge of the silicon chip, key terms and definitions of the industry, and the various types of integrated circuits and their functions.  By learning about the background knowledge, you can deepen your understanding of integrated circuit innovations across the generations.  Whether you're new to the semiconductor field or have been working with semiconductors for decades, you will likely learn something new about silicon chips.  This course is relevant for both a technical and non-technical audience.
