Course Description 

This bundle of six courses covers Process Safety Management in the following categories: Process Safety Management (PSM), Overview of PSM, Pre-Startup Safety Review, Hazard Analysis, Process Safety Information, and finally Process Safety Management Training. 

Course Objectives

  • Recognize what is involved in a Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) and how they are planned and implemented.
  • Identify what a Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) is and the different types of PHAs a company can perform.
  • Recognize how PHAs are used to identify and reduce significant process hazards. 
  • Identify Process Safety Information (PSI)
  • Recognize the three main PSI categories and the specific data gathered within them.
  • Understand the training requirement of the PSM regulations and what kind of training employers should provide.
