Course Description 

To understand the hazards associated with a chemical process, documentation relating to the process must be gathered.   This data provides the basis for developing process hazard analyses, preparing operating and maintenance procedures, training, performing incident investigations, and managing changes as they occur.   This course discusses process safety information (PS*) that is part of the Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations. Topics in this course include Process Safety information, Chemicals, Technology, Flow Diagrams, Equipment, and Participation. After completing this course, learners can identify PSI and recognize the three main PSI categories and the specific data gathered within them.
