Abstract

This Standard specifies the requirements of silicone adhesive for the back rail fixture on photovoltaic (PV) modules (hereinafter referred to as adhesive), so that they can be standardized in manufacturing, sales, and customer acceptance.


This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, sample preparation, test methods, inspection rule, packing, marking, transportation, and storage of the silicone adhesive for PV Modules.

 

The Standard is applicable to the structural adhesion for photovoltaic glass and aluminum profiles. The structural adhesion between the substrates in other photovoltaic applications can also be taken as reference.
