Respiratory Protection Awareness

Course Description 

Exposure to an airborne chemical can cause health effects that last the rest of your life.  If your workplace contains dangerous chemicals, you may need to know about respirator use.  This training will present the basic respiratory protection requirements and focus on respirator types and limitations.  Ideal learners include all employees. 

Course Objectives  

• Identify typical elements of respiratory protection programs.
• Know what happens during medical evaluations and fit testing.
• Recognize the characteristics of different types of respirators.
• Recall the importance of respirator inspection, maintenance, and storage.
