Abstract

1  Purpose
1.1  The purpose of this Specification is to provide a method to define the unique identification for a component part that can be used as a key for accessing traceability information of the component part.
1.2  The purpose of this Specification is to standardize the design of the ID label for use in establishing a system of transferring the traceability information in an efficient and timely manner between the user and the supplier.
2  Scope
2.1  This Specification defines (1) unique ID format, (2) format of the label representing the unique ID, and (3) operation of affixing the label.
2.2  This Specification is intended to apply to component parts of the semiconductor manufacturing equipment (SME).
NOTE 1: This applies to component parts regardless of consumable part or not.
